No information on set-up or, will it work for an older XP and a wireless.

Summary: Dissapointed: No book on set-up or what all the connections were for. I purchesed this one because I had an older NetGear router that worked on our older XP and wireless lap-top. This one does not. After searching the internet several times I gave up and so this one has it's own shelf space collecting dust.
Summary: I bought this to use as a blu ray player and it did work excellent. But I also needed to use as a Netflix movie player. I had so much trouble. I called both parties--Netflix and Samsung and no one could help. The blu ray players works great. Good product for the money.
Summary: The product is light and looks cheap, but it works without a hitch and has very good range. You can't use it for cable broadband, only for ADSL, but it does work as just a router if you connect your modem to it through a LAN port. The auto-detect connection wizard is useless, the router has to be set up manually.
Excerpt: "This router is OK, and nothing more. When using wired connections, the router can handle several things plugged into it at once. The problems come when you want to use wireless. The router has a poor range and will drop the connection for no apparent reason. Want to use use your laptop upstairs? Prepare to be frustrated. The security settings and menu options are brilliant, however, and are a real selling point. Although I am reviewing this ...
Summary: I just changed over from my other netgear router and put those setting in this one, which was easy to do. I found it harder to do when setting up at my daughters house as it just wouldnt let her on the internet even though it showed her connected and it showed up on the net, her wireless computer would not just not connect at all. I find some providers dont like using certain routers and even though they showed others this one did not come up in their help guides.
Summary: I have a desktop and a laptop in home. And this Modem cum Router works superb for my desktop but for my laptop i have to be around the router.. It has very low signal range. Other than that it is a nice router with easy to install and works without any disconnections.
Try upgarding the firmware version for better experience

Summary: I have been using this modem for a few months now. It worked worked fine initially for a week. Then it started to give problems with wireless connectivity and frequent disconnections. Following are the pros and cons I would like to list: + Good compatibility with ISPs like BSNL. + Nice web interface to configure the settings and will be done in few minutes. - Wireless range is poor. Very poor signal strength just 10 meters away from the router.
