Summary: I have two other (older) routers in our business and they transmit much farther than this one. I bought this one to use in our 900 square foot adobe house. It may be that the adobe interferes, but our business is adobe, too, and the signal strength there is much better. I bought this because my research showed it would work with Century Link DSL.
No information on set-up or, will it work for an older XP and a wireless.

Summary: Dissapointed: No book on set-up or what all the connections were for. I purchesed this one because I had an older NetGear router that worked on our older XP and wireless lap-top. This one does not. After searching the internet several times I gave up and so this one has it's own shelf space collecting dust.
Summary: I bought this to use as a blu ray player and it did work excellent. But I also needed to use as a Netflix movie player. I had so much trouble. I called both parties--Netflix and Samsung and no one could help. The blu ray players works great. Good product for the money.
Summary: As i bough one refurbished product I can't refer to a new one so this is for the refurbished one, it works when it wants to work the range is limited even smaller than a 624g v3 from the same company that I own, has problem routing to different pcs or laptops when there is more than two it stops working even though it is connected to the internet and to the machines it stops sending packets to every computer.
Summary: The product is light and looks cheap, but it works without a hitch and has very good range. You can't use it for cable broadband, only for ADSL, but it does work as just a router if you connect your modem to it through a LAN port. The auto-detect connection wizard is useless, the router has to be set up manually.
Excerpt: "This router is OK, and nothing more. When using wired connections, the router can handle several things plugged into it at once. The problems come when you want to use wireless. The router has a poor range and will drop the connection for no apparent reason. Want to use use your laptop upstairs? Prepare to be frustrated. The security settings and menu options are brilliant, however, and are a real selling point. Although I am reviewing this ...
