Summary: I got this to replace my previous Netgear modem/router purchased in 2009. The old one still worked, but I was not getting a good enough signal throughout the house (single story, 3300 sq. ft.). This one has a very good signal at the farthest reaches. It was a breeze to install.

Summary: Live in rural America where internet service is worst than 3rd world countries. Upgraded to Centurytel "fast" internet (which is a bit better than 56k phone service) and they would have leased me a modem for about $10 per month. Went for purchasing my own.

Summary: Bought as used very good condition. In the one month I have had it, it has been rock solid. No drop-outs at all. None. I can't believe it. I returned a TP-Link because that was all I had. Constant re-booting. Not with this unit. Super easy set-up for Windstream. Love it!!!
Summary: This modem is easy to set up and pretty cool looking compared to other router/modem setups. The Netgear Genie app is awesome because it gives you an easy way to customize your settings and see where the wifi signal is strongest/weakest. For the price it is a great product
Summary: Better than my ATT issued modem. This sends out a better signal to all my wireless devices anywhere in my 2 story house. No matter how many devices we've plugged in and used simultaneously (5 at a time) we've not lost a signal nor had slow service.
