Summary: Not my choice, the Netcomm NB16WV was part of my contracted package. It’s the worst modem/router I’ve ever had (out of four, with other ISP’s). With mynetfone not ofering to replace this lemon I’ve been saddled with countless VoIP dropouts, sometimes lasting for 2 or 3 days as there was no support available, and had nearly five months of internet crashes, almost weekly, with also limited support from my ISP.
Summary: Spent many hours trying to get this going with iiNet Cable and Voip. Eventually going but by downgrading firmware to R0.08 but still randomly drops internet On this site to find a better option
Summary: I’ve had nothing but trouble trying to get the VoIP to work with iinet and have given up, no reply from ticket lodged with netcomm either, so as well as being a piece of rubbish it doesn’t have any support.
Summary: The voip is rubbish, you cant make a call more than 30 minutes, as soon as you hit 30 minutes it hangs up. I’ve had a call logged with Netcomm for 3 months and all they can tell me is they are aware of the issue and it will be fixed with the next firmware upgrade. They still cant tell me when this will be so my modem is just gathering dust.
