Cons: RF output is VERY low. 5Ghz band is not usable as short or long distances. Have to disable basic funtions. Not good for SONY PS3 or other media devices. RUN don't walk away from this waste of time and money
"Expensive, not very reliable - WRT400N is better"
30 November 2009
Pros: - Simultaneous dual band. - Performance is pretty good on both bands.
Cons: - Expensive - 5.0GHz reception degrades quickly, 80% just 20 feet away with no walls in between. - Periodically drops connections - Performance, while good, is not what you would expect for $200, even with version 2 of the hardware.
Cons: Range is poor. Instruction manual is inconsistent and poorly written. Very difficult to understand in parts. Service is poor (see notes). Speed and functionality drops off after a period of time. Signal drops increase and slow down dramatically.
Cons: Terrible signal. I have 2 computers no more than 75 feet away in a one level apartment. Both barely have any signal. I can't even use the 5ghz...no signal what so ever...even just 50-60 foot straight run.
