Summary: I paid 3 - 5 day shipping only to learn that the shipping estimate was 13 days. I would never buy anything from BinkieMelane again. I'm sure the router will be fine once it finally arrives, but I'll reserve judgement on this for later.
Linksys WRT610N Simultaneous Dual-N Band Wireless Router

Summary: Linksys products are expensive. Reading many reviews didn't help much with deciding who to buy from, but I did think this company was known for quality. I paid the extra because I wanted the dual band set up and I thought having all of the same brand of equipment would simplify set up. NO, NO, NO!
Summary: I'm returning the WRT610N after having it for less than 24 hours. I couldn't get a consistent wired connection and no wireless connection at all. I'm fairly tech savvy and did all the troubleshooting I could.
Linksys delivers defective product; refuses to honor refund request

Summary: My wife gave me a WRT610N router for Christmas 2009. Several days after installing it, I noticed that my internet speed was very slow. Ran a speed test; my 10 mbps cable connection was running about 500K through the router (wired connection).
Summary: I have owned Linksys for about, well since I first went wireless! 2001-02. This unitl is crazy JUNK! From first hook up to reinstall I had major issues, wouldn't find my servers, Very low wireless signal. My PS3 is 15 ft.
Summary: I have gone through 2 WRT610N routers. Both times I spent over an hour with Linksys tech support. I was trying to upgrade from the WRT54G Version 8 (which works great), but I wanted the N channel and some of the other features of the 610.
Summary: Well I got everything working on both 2.4 & 5 GHZ... kind of... But I can't believe how bad the signal strength/ distance /frequency of signal loss is on this unit. I've perused all the relevant posts on the Linksys tech forums & based on the other posts, it seems to simply be the way it is.
Summary: I have had two previous Linksys routers (one wi-fi) than worked decently though were somewhat confusing and time-consuming to set up for a non-techie like me. I needed to extend my wireless coverage so I bought both this and the Apple.
