Summary: Received this item back on Christmas 2006. I'm not a super techy or needy guy. All I ask is that my internet is up when I need it to be. So this router did exactly that for a good 6 years. The last 3 months, I needed to unplug and reboot the router to get connectivity back at least a few times.
Summary: The WRT54G was a good router (it has legendary status because it had open firmware and holds the wireless transmission distance record of around 1500 kms), the WRT54GS had even better wireless (more range... in normal use)...
Summary: I've owned this router for several years and it's all-around a piece of junk... I don't know what it is with Linksys' recent products but they all seem to be flaky and unreliable. Sometimes you can connect, sometimes you can't.
