Summary: Linksys by Cisco WRT320N Dual-Band Wireless-N Gigabit Router We were connecting a Vista laptop running a Dlink N adaptor, a MAC laptop and a wired Vista desktop. This home/office configuration previously operated on a Linksys wireless G router. We have been using Linksys routers for several years.
Summary: I plugged the adapter into the router and then into an electic outlet. The router didn't even get to completely boot up that first time and the adapter stopped supplying power to it. Now the router can not get any power at all from the adapter, It is completely dead.
Summary: This device is not really Dual Band. You can only use 2.4Ghz and 5.0Ghz 1 at a time. Wow! What a surprise you only find out when you setup. I had an old Linksys router (Before they were purchased by Cisco and made good stuff) that has much better antenna reach in my house.
Summary: Doesn't work. Power light just keeps blinking. So disappointed with this product. Can't believe it doesn't work. Don't ever buy this product. I am very unhappy with this product. Just all and all the product is faulty and basically doesn't work there is nothing more to say about it.
Summary: I RMA'd it this evening after officially declaring defeat. It definitely has a serious hardware problem. Will update review when I receive new unit.
Pros: Compatible with DD-WRT (latest version), supposed to be fast when properly configured, price - I picked this up for 44.99 with free shipping... practically becomes an impulse buy for that price.
Cons: Plugged it, hooked it up, and ran for about 20 minutes. It dropped the connection - long story short - thing thing runs very, very hot. It burned my finger by touching the top it. Apparently a common problem with this type of router.
Summary: Bought a new one a few months back, loaded Tomato firmware on it and it has performed well. Roll the dice with this one it appears.
Pros: No evidence of being a RM. Looked new right out of box.
Cons: Within 5 minutes drops connections. This is right out of the box. Suspect this is heat related because if the router is left powered off long enough to cool, it will once again last about 5 minutes before it starts dropping connections. RMA'd and Newegg will quickly replace, but I have to pay to ...
Summary: I received this router with a lot of hope, however the router never worked, it seems it had a corrupted firmware, there was no way to fix this, however the process to return it was worst, after a lot of simply dum questions from Cisco's rep, I found out that it would cost me almost the same to...
Second cisco router I have purchased, neither work properly
2 October 2010
Summary: Well, where do I begin? No, I am not going to go into a long winded diatribe. First, the router causes intermitent problems with my Vonage phone service, so I am unable to use my home telephone, period. There is no way to fix the problem because it is caused by the router's firewall.
