Horrible. Doesn't even work.

kasey6281, Ebay

  • Summary: Doesn't work. Power light just keeps blinking. So disappointed with this product. Can't believe it doesn't work. Don't ever buy this product. I am very unhappy with this product. Just all and all the product is faulty and basically doesn't work there is nothing more to say about it. That's the bottom line.

"Absolutely horrible product."

  • Pros: Great paperweight
  • Cons: Multiple resets per day. Didn't even use advanced setup. Only factory settings and basic wireless security. Router would just stop working, try to login to it, "connection times out". Power cycle would get it working for a few minutes.

"Range Disappointing / Unstable Driver"

jjgarc, CNET
23 May 2010
  • Pros: It looks nice
  • Cons: Range is a joke. LELA (Linksys Easy Link Advisor) is highly unstable. Requires multiple, periodic iterations of uninstalling/reinstalling. Still remains unstable. Features become disabled for no apparent reason. Linksys website is unstable.

  • Summary: I have another Linksys N router by Cisco. I bought this one to use a couple of days ago to see if it was faster than my other one.. WRONG!! I have a month old HP DV7 Laptop and I hooked it up and its SO slow. Would not load up hardly any pages. Hooked my old one back up and running great and this one is going back for a refund.

  • Summary: Just want to let Macintosh users to be careful with this router. They said is compatible with wireless a/b/g/n...i have older macbook pro and a new imac, it would intermittently disconnect me from the network. it was just a hassle, my work and education is depending on internet usage. so this was not my cup of tea. save another 70 dollars, and just get Apple Extreme base station, they are GREAT!

Serious issues

Alex Comerford, Amazon
25 November 2010
  • Summary: Cisco seem to use the Linksys brand when they know something isn't going to be reliable nowadays. I've used various Linksys routers for years with no real issues, and likewise Cisco kit costing many thousand of pounds, but this has real issues. The wireless signal drops out at random intervals and has to be fixed with a reboot. The physical network ports also randomly lock requiring a reboot. Not stable enough for any environment.

Very disappointed

Ray "wgsl", Amazon
22 October 2010
  • Summary: My previous Linksys router lasted about 5 years, with a few minor issues, but performed well in the main until, first the wireless receiption failed, then the whole device stopped working. I am now returning the second WRT320N (a replacement from Amazon, a 5 stars for Amazon's customer service), with basically the same issue, that of either a wireless that drops on the 2.4GHz band, or it is stable on 5GHz, but not all of my computers can use the band.
