Summary: I've had this router since 2006 and have never had an issue with it. We have at least a dozen devices that utilize it in our home, including a Wii and two Roku boxes as well as laptops, tablets and smart phones. Not even close to replacing it.
Summary: Though I had expected a Cisco-Linksys WRT300N Wireless-N Broadband Router version 1.1 from looking at the advertised picture, it was actually a Cisco-Linksys WRT300N Wireless-N Broadband Router version 1.0. I cleaned it up a little and it is performing well.
Summary: I have not noticed the range issues that others have mentioned - I own a computer business, therefore I get a dozen pc's a week in the shop and I have never had one not connect right up to the router. Xbox live has not had any issues either.
Pros: Easy Setup (if you know what you are doing) - plenty of setup options - Works with everything I've thrown at it
Cons: I have had to perform a soft reset about 1 time per month. Not a big deal - all the settings are saved.
Summary: I didn't get a warm fuzzy feeling buying this product because of the different reviews. Here is what I encountered. Not much came in the box. Just some quick setup documentation. The wired side was easy, which was expected. I setup the router to work with my friend's cable modem.
Summary: Not many firmware updates are released. I suggest hacking thie firmware and using a third-party firmware to hopefully correct any issues you may run into. Overall, this router does what it's supposed to.
Pros: Easy Setup (For The Experienced Tech) Provided Guided Setup is Very Easy To Follow Wireless N Technology is Very Fast The Use of 3 Antennas Dramatically Increases My WIFI Coverage. Compatable with most Wireless Network Cards
Cons: Software provided by linksys consumes high amounts of memory. Router Generates A lot of Heat. Frequent Disconnects with MacOSX Leopard. Have to push button on the unit to reset the connection.
Summary: As with many router they can be hit or miss. I dealt with routers I loved and routers I've hated. For me personally this router worked fine. The only problem I had was connecting the WRE54G (the range extender).
