Summary: It greatly improved the signal to my remote workshop computer. However, it appears that it has a very directional signal. The in house signal (opposite direction from the workshop) is marginal. The price was great. I don't recall that it was clearly stated that it was a used unit.
Summary: I've had this router since 2006 and have never had an issue with it. We have at least a dozen devices that utilize it in our home, including a Wii and two Roku boxes as well as laptops, tablets and smart phones. Not even close to replacing it.
Summary: Though I had expected a Cisco-Linksys WRT300N Wireless-N Broadband Router version 1.1 from looking at the advertised picture, it was actually a Cisco-Linksys WRT300N Wireless-N Broadband Router version 1.0. I cleaned it up a little and it is performing well.
Summary: The Linksys WRT300N plugged right in, I followed the step-by-step instructions and made the switch from wireless G to N without a hitch. Works great between floors and am able to stream movies to my BlueRay player with Netflix. Very pleased with the Amazon team for being speedy and cost effective.
Summary: I didn't have the problem others seem to have had with this router. I had it up and running (both wired and wirelessly) in only a few minutes using their web controls. And it's fast. My problem is with its wireless reliability.
Summary: Bought this router over a year ago. Unfortunately, the wireless connection hardly works without manually intervening. Laptop cannot find the network most of the time and have to cycle the power on the router to get it to work.
Summary: As with many router they can be hit or miss. I dealt with routers I loved and routers I've hated. For me personally this router worked fine. The only problem I had was connecting the WRE54G (the range extender).
