Summary: so I've had this for a couple of years now. It's been OK... Just... OK. Unlike others, I don't have a problem accessing the settings page (192.168.1.1). The problem I DO have however is that it does NOT handle IPV6. At all. In fact, it will crash my entire network.
Summary: Hooked up this thing in minutes. In the beginning it delivered great speed to my laptop and desktop. It slowly failed within three hours then finally no connectivity at all. Probably a good purchase for some but not here.
Pros: Nice form factor. Good throughput. Easy setup.
Cons: Not reliable. It died a quick and merciful death within hours.
Summary: I, too, was experiencing the frequent dropped connections with this router which I lived through for the last 6+ months (despite many efforts to troubleshoot, upgrade firmware, play with settings, etc).
Summary: Linksys's customer support is a joke. It took 2 weeks to receive my replacement router after RMA and when I recieved the new one it was badly scratch, had something spilled all over the front of it, and had a power port so lose it would not turn on).
Pros: Has nice sleek design and LEDs are more readable than the WRT54G. The unit is also wall mountable.
Cons: There are several problems with thus product such as poor ventilation (the unit gets very hot), non-stackable, firmware can be temperamental at times. Mine just stopped working one day and could not reflash the firmware despite 2 hours on the phone with tech support.
Easy setup, super fast, but VPN to work doesn't work

Summary: I've used linksys products for a very long time and have been pleased with the results. I decided to upgrade my "G" router to a "N" to get the faster throughput to access my network storage devices (music and pictures). Initially, I was please with the router.
Summary: I had the router working fine for about 3 weeks and then it just started to drop the wired and wireless connections every 9 seconds. I have no problems with newegg as the shippng was fast. But Linksys who is now cisco should not be making bargin basement equipment. I am very dissapointed!
Summary: First the auto-setup CD software DID NOT WORK. Phone support was helpful to set up manually. This was for a newer laptop running Windows XP. I had same issue with brand-new Windows VISTA Home edition.
Summary: Sending this back, It's just not what I expected from Linksys, I had my WRT54G v2 for 5 years, never had a problem until it died last week... It seems all the newer Linksys have disappointing reviews... I bought a D-Link DIR-825, It it's EPIC FAST.
Pros: Speedy Sleek looking Solid Ethernet Connection Decent Range
Cons: It seems to disconnect at random times and has to be reset to reconnect. Sometimes the Wireless N Refuses to go over 54mbps. Not what I paid for... If I wanted 54mbps a new WRT54G is only $45! Fingerprint/Dust magnet Gloss Black Runs kinda warm, and with the small form factor, theres really no wh...
Summary: Get the WRT54 routers. I have had my WRT54G for 5 years, and it still works much better than my WRT110.
Pros: It was cheap when and where I bought it. The EasyConnect software was actually, well, easy and accurately identified problems in the connection.
Cons: The router's range is limited. I was only two thin walls and 24 feet away (on the same floor) from the router, and I supposedly had an almost full strength connection but the speeds of my internet (around 26 mb downstream) was slow. I could only download at less than 3 mb. I was receiving faster ...
