Summary: bought to replace limited feature thomson ADSL router. pretty easy to setup as long as you know your adsl settings. NAS access is a little slow and will struggle to play back higher quality videos. otherwise a good router, good constant signal and no drop outs.
Good bit of kit Magic utility should be available in uk though

Summary: Brilliant bit of hardwae doddle to set up and looks good too. My only gripe is it installs a program called 'magic' free for a couple of days the hassles repeaetedly to upgrade and states 'not for sale in UK this piece of software keeps popping up and when it does stops access to the network on the machine it is installed for several minutes it then proceeds to 'fix' the system which it does but everyone else on the network is not having issues truly rubbish bit of...
Summary: The router was very easy to set up using the included wizard. However, having used Linksys routers before I was hoping to use the admin screen by linking directly to the router without using the wizard. I was getting very strange results when I tried this and contacted Linksys on their PREMIUM RATE helpline. The agent I spoke to picked up the problem straight away as she no doubt had been asked the question many times before.
Summary: As an ex Network Engineer, using mainly Cisco products, I was hoping that this had some sort of CLI but sadly it doesn't. I presume that it's just a LinkSys product, badged as Cisco. You cannot see any meaningful stats (the current net speed up and down is NOT dynamic). Neither can you do a trace route, nor a ping to a named network address (only to an IP address), nor ping from a specific port.
Summary: It was eventually, installed and is working well. Found it a bit confusing to install as my provider was not one listed and it asked for details I was unaware of. Eventually found information and OK. Also confused by keyword. First 2 digits were l0 and I read it as ten (10); but the first digit was lower case L! I think the company should beware - I am an elderly guy but was not the only one in the family who made this mistake!
Summary: Easy to set up (and later alter if necessary) and works well. Stable. Sometimes you need the instructions - eg if you change broadband provider and this was easy to do. I have now (Feb 2012) bought 3 more of these for different locations and continue to be impressed with the ease of set up and the way they do what they should. Wireless networking really is simple with this product.
Summary: I bought this router one month ago as it was recommended as a Which? best buy. Some previous reviews made me think about it before going ahead. However, I have been completely satisfied so far. It was easy to set up for wired and wireless connections. It came with a 7 day trial version of Network Magic software. I get messages saying "your trial has expired, do you wish to purchase Network Magic? even though it is not available for purchase in the UK.
Summary: Good item, just have to be patient to fine tune it after thorough research. Don't bother going to Linksys, they designed it but are useless at finding a fix. Item gets very hot and can cause disconnections. Thats where the usb comes to good use. Get an average laptop cooler and run that through the usb, problem solved. Otherwise signal is excellent throughout a medium/large house if positioned correctly. Lets see, 3 months and running great......
