Summary: It has been installed over 12 months now and never let me down. I have installed an extender to my furthest room, though it range is excellent in a bungalow many rooms are far apart and an extender ensures no drop-out on any of my gadgets.
Summary: A great product only trouble is it was the wrong product for my needs; my fault. Was trying to connect my Sky box to my BT hub without paying out for a Sky modem router £65. instead bought 10 meters of cable instead, £10. Now i am stuck with the wirless router again unused; and again my fault not the product.
Summary: I bought this to replace a Belkin router that had stopped working properly. It was really easy to set up; I'd been worried about whether I should disconnect the old router first but the Linksys CD installation programme detected the old router was still on and guided me on when to disconnect it. It was easier to set up than the Belkin, and easier to connect other devices to it - printer, laptop, tablet.
Summary: After first carefully updating the firmware (available from the Linksys site) to try and avoid some of the problems other purchasers have undergone, this has now run for 9 months without a single disconnection or hiccup on an ADSL2+ connection averaging 15Mb. (NB. There are another 12 routers operating in the block of 23 flats where this is sited, so it seems relatively immune to the effects of interference.
Summary: I finally got my internet connection in Zurich and the apartment agent supplied me with a ZyXEL P-660ME ADSL 2+ Ethernet/USB Modem. Between this and my Apple Airport Express I managed to get the network up and running fairly quickly. However, pretty soon wireless problems started appearing, and devices were getting allocated IP addresses in the 169.xxx.xxx.xxx range which meant I couldn't connect to the internet. The only way to fix the problem was to reset the modem.
Summary: Linksys by Cisco WAG120N Wireless-N Modem Router - 150 mbps (for ADSL / telephone line connections i.e BT Broadband) After initial very frustration installation problems - LAN did not detect router - finally after de-installation of previous router software everything went rather smoothly. Very pleased with product.
Summary: OK so I went onto Which? and they recomended this, its cheap and effective and relatively easy to set up so they say. Well it does work exceptionally well and it does represent excellent value for money. It replaced my current modem which failed. this supports a fixed pc and three laptops well. However I installed a temporary modem before which was a usb fixed adsl modem. this software disabled my local area connection and network adapter.
Summary: This is an excellent little router. A really nice design and it does everything it's supposed to. Very easy to set up with on-screen instructions and works very well both wireless (within a reasonable distance) and wired.
Summary: Brought this because the router that came with my broadband package was very poor and because I needed to be able to host my own sit and the ISP firewall setting wouldn't allow me to host properly after 10 minutes of setting up and a couple of minutes of applying my own setting I'm on-line and hosting my own site. very happy with this router would recommend it to anyone!
