User Review

ABMBY, Walmart
1 April 2014
  • Summary: Like another reviewer posted, it connected wirelessly only to one laptop, the other laptop had to be connected with a LAN cable. The one laptop I was able to connect wirelessly only showed 4 bars at all times and mind you this was not just a visual deficiency, I experienced slower internet speeds as well. After about a month of disappointing use, I just unplugged it and went back to my 10 year old D-LINK router which is still a work horse compared to this new router.

didn't do what I expected

Debbie, Staples
18 January 2014
  • Excerpt: instead of getting a extender to my Belkin I had, it was suggested to get a new router, my house is less than 75ft long and devices at end of house don't see the connection - no better off than my original router that was 15 yrs old!!
  • Pros: Easy To Set Up, Secure Connection
  • Cons: Distance, Unreliable connection

Invest in the next level up

Atlanta, Staples
14 February 2013
  • Excerpt: Invest in the next level. This replaced an 8 y/o router and its slower, with less range. The bad part of buying one, is it really takes more than 2 weeks to notice the weakness, making it too late to return. I wasted my money.
  • Pros: Secure
  • Cons: Limited Range, Slow

poor range

CC, Office Depot
29 January 2013
  • Excerpt: I upgraded to this router after I had compatibility issues between my wrt54gs2 router and my wireless security cameras. The compatibility issues were solved but this router has very poor range so I'm having to spend another $80 or so on a range extender. My home is about 1600 sq feet single story and the cameras are mounted on the four corners of the house.
  • Pros: easy setup
  • Cons: poor range
