Excerpt: I bought an E2500 directly from Linksys on 12/08/13. It was recommended by the Linksys rep who took my call when my previous Linksys router failed. After installing the E2500, I found that I had lost my internet connection and printer/file sharing capabilities. I called Linksys tech support, but was told that the problem was with my network, not the router.
Excerpt: I replaced my 10 year old "G" router with this one. The old router had a much larger range and it worked through walls. This one does not. I returned it already and hooked the old one back up.
Excerpt: Purchased an E2500 last year and it stopped connecting to my modem. Linksys offered to provide tech support if I'd pay $40. Not happy with this product at all. What support can they offer it stopped working? Very unhappy and will NOT purchase from Cisco again!
Summary: I went to Walmart and bought an E2500 back in August (2013), everything seemed to work fine until December, for apparent reason I lost my wireless network. I went back to my fancy E2500 and found a “blinking power LED”. Next I hardwired my laptop to the modem and searched for similar cases, I found that most of the people recommended unplugging and plugging back the router, by doing so I didn’t get the unit to respond.
