Summary: I thought a product with the Linksys or Cisco name would live up to the brand. It doesn't. All of my devices lose network connectivity CONSTANTLY. Drives me nuts. I wouldn't give this to my dog. Save your money and your sanity and buy something ... anything ... else.
Summary: Works just fine for a few weeks, then needs complete reconfiguration. First Linksys device I've had since Cisco left, and it's junk. My old power surge struck Cisco Linksys device is still working and I had to get back on it.
Summary: this item did not perform well whrn used for in home wifi. It only worked reasonably well when used in the same rom where other wifi objects are nused. This did not have a clear signal at 25 feet, and lost connection quickly. I WOULD ONLY RECOMMEND THIS TO BE USED IN A CENTRAL LOCATION.
Excerpt: I was so excited to install my new Linksys router. My belkin router had worked fine with the 3 wireless pieces of equipment, but did not work with my new "smart phone" so I bought this Linksys E1200 Router and installed it that night.
Summary: This router gets into a state where no one can connect to it. I cannot even get connected to it when wired directly to see if something is going on. Only works again if I reboot it by powering it off and then on again. Going to return it.
Excerpt: We bought this, Linksys E1200 wireless-N Router, because we had, had one for 5 years and liked it. This one seemed fine for the 1st 30 days then started shutting down. When I called staples I found out there was only a 30 day return policy.
Summary: the router was purchased to replace a Linksys E1000 because our internet provider said the signal was not enough to run I-Pad, Lap top and smart phones. Since we connected the E1200 we cannot pickup the internet but maybe every other 4 or 5 tries.
