Summary: I cannot say if it is the fault of my internet provider or the router, but I keep loosing the internet connection frequently and have to unplug and re-plug the router to re-establish an internet connection. The speed is excellent and as I said, the problem may be with AT&T my internet provider.
Summary: I bought this router refurbished and used it for almost 3 years before having to replace it. The only issue it had was not booting up immediately after being plugged in. The lights just kept flashing. I had to unplug it and plug it in again several times to finally get it to work.
Summary: The delivery came next day, even though I chose 2 day - this was good, very good. It appeared to be in pristine condition. What I didn't realize was that since it was refurbished, the original disk that it came with wasn't any good. In the end I had to connect via phone to Cisco service department.
Summary: Before I purchased Cisco I was using belkin 75 mbps wireless N router. I hooked a Roku HD player with my TV and started viewing movies but some times it break the connnectivity and I contated the Roku HD dealer. They advised me to increase internet speed from 3 mb to atleast 10 mb.
Summary: I got this router to replace my parents' old one which had a horrible interface and it kept kicking them off the network. It was easy to install and while it was running it was a great little router especially for the price. Unfortunately it died after 4 months of usage.
Pros: Cheap and while it ran it was a great router
Summary: Simpled down web interface which is great but lacks the very obvious need for guest acct mgnt. not sure what cisco was thinking. as for communication distance, I would say very average. I have 3000sqft home and you start losing bars as soon as you leave the room.
Pros: Built and managed by Cisco - reputable company
Cons: have to use Cisco Connect to manage guest acct...defaults to ON so would be frustrating to novices
