IOGEAR Wireless 4 Port USB Sharing Station GUWIP204 is AWESOME!

Dewit, Amazon
  • Summary: I did not expect this device to work with all kinds of computer peripherals, but thought that I would give it a try. I was amazed that it worked 100 % on all my gaming peripherals. I am using it with Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog Joystick, Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals and TrackIr 5 Premium Head Tracking. I needed to update the IOGEAR firmware together with the software driver.

I love this - I'm surprised they are more widely known

Stephen Lankton, Amazon
22 August 2014
  • Summary: Get the software and firmware update from their site - don't use the old software on the CD. They have Windows 8.1 software/drivers available and they work great. Be sure to get the right software as another similar product has a similar name. I called tech support and got through in 4 seconds to a courteous, English speaking, and smart person. I'm buying a 2nd one.

Works with Fine Offset weather station

Book_Girl, Amazon
18 May 2014
  • Summary: This works with my Fine Offset weather station, but only after my husband upgraded software on the computer to the latest version (the one on the CD was not the latest version), and then upgraded the firmware on the device itself. Before doing this, the Cumulus software by Sandaysoft did not communicate with the weather station but it detected it was connected. Sorry, I don't know what model of Fine Offset I have. As of right now, it is working.

BROTHER, IS THIS DEVICE SWEET!

L. M. Celani, Amazon
16 April 2014
  • Summary: I have 2 LaCie 2 BIG JUMBO hard drives and a Brother label printer. Desk space is valuable and with so little real estate, the drives and printer took up valuable space. I bought this to attempt to move the drives and printer to a bookshelf. Well it worked out very well. The device was simple to configure to my wireless network and now when I launch the application on my Windows 7 machine, I can connect to each device.

Awful software

Zeb Smith, Amazon
1 April 2014
  • Summary: I have no idea whether this works or not. The current version of the software does not install properly on the two Windows 8.1 PC's and one Windows 7 PC that I tested it on. I've tried all of the usual tricks and it still fails to install the drivers.
