Pros: Rock solid build. Totally silent. High performance. Very easy to setup. Awesome warranty. Zero problems with this switch / no need to power cycle it or anything. Completely sold on HP now when it comes to switches, would buy again and have been recommending them to friends.
Cons: They don't make a 48 port of the 1410 series, have to step up to the more expensive/advanced 1810 series. Which sort of makes sense but sometimes people only need basic gigabit switching.
Pros: Fanless, quite. Small. Got to replace my cisco switch that was causing network issue with x-box and PS3 connection time. Cons: I have to say I was a bit bummed that the switch I received does not have any of the ProCurve markings as shown in the images. I'm not taking any eggs away since this doesn't detract from the functionality of the switch or the warranty. Everything else is identical though.
Summary: Ordered Friday afternoon, showed up monday morning. Can't ask for better than that. Everything was boxed properly and the item works well. I am back in business after lighting fried my old switch. Thanks
