Summary: No management, but a decent switch for my whole house A/V, computer network. It has mounts so it can fit in a 19" rack, and is working away with streaming audio and video in the house, and streaming audio and internet outside. It is working like a champ.
Summary: I bought this because of the high reliability of other HP switches I own. This one was very disappointing to say the least. I would definitely not recommend this product.
Cons: Makes a good paperweight. I have many HP switches and would have sworn by them. This one never worked out of the box. I set it up and it seemed to be working, then the next day it was dropping all packets. Did a power reset and the same thing the next day. So it never worked, and I am so overwhel...
Pros: Rock solid build. Totally silent. High performance. Very easy to setup. Awesome warranty. Zero problems with this switch / no need to power cycle it or anything. Completely sold on HP now when it comes to switches, would buy again and have been recommending them to friends.
Cons: They don't make a 48 port of the 1410 series, have to step up to the more expensive/advanced 1810 series. Which sort of makes sense but sometimes people only need basic gigabit switching.
