Take caution if using these to forward POE power

  • Summary: Bought two of these to hook up to my study room as well as TV console.Used one of them to power a WAP4410 AP. Both Intellijacks are powered via PoE.These Intellijacks require 802.3at (30w) POE or DC adaptor( sold separately) in order to forward POE power to any of the dual power forwarding...

First one worked until ...

  • Summary: If you have a POE device (like a phone) going through this unit it needs the 48v power supply,(Newegg dose not sale) to supply power to the POE device.
  • Pros: First one worked fine on my POE system. Second one it working fine. Called HP network support line (@4pm) in 5 minutes they started to send me a new one. Got it the next day. (HP got a egg back for great service)
  • Cons: First one worked until i plug in the 48v power then pop. Dead
