Summary: The web interface is very helpful and even works on Linux. So I was initially impressed. That said the issues need to be either cleaned up or fixed by eliminating the Java portion and using AJAX.
Pros: This switch is being used in a video conferencing school and has been very reliable. We have every port filled and are using several 802.1Q vlans (Trunks and Native) and switch interconnects. It has been running this way for about 2 years. With minimal changes. We also have it connected to a UPS ...
Cons: The Java based web interface is some what lacking in ease of use except if your using Internet Explorer. There is overlap in the text etc. That said it is navigate able even if you sometimes have to click the buttons more than once. A good backup solution is to use the ssh text console.
Great switch - lousy Amazon search capability results in incorrect purchase

Summary: This switch is returned as a valid search result when looking for "ProCurve 2510-48G" - go try it (include the quotes). If you don't pay attention like one of my staffers, you end up buying one (price is great for the "G" model - ok for this model) or four in my case.
Summary: For the money, this device is one of the best network infrastructure products I've ever experienced. Bought it from Amazon vendor through Amazon.com - arrived on time and brand-new in factory shrink wrap with usual stellar Amazon.com packaging, all pluses.
