Summary: The variable speed wheel is in a great spot but, when first turn on after been sitting for a while it won't start, till move it a little then it starts some times it dies back a little then have to fiddle with it again.
This Router is so heavy it is hard to adjust for precision work on a router table.

Summary: I replaced a 3 1/4 hp router with the M12 V2 also 3 1/4 hp. This is quiet and smooth to cut but because of its weight it is very difficult to adjust the depth of cut on a router table. I have to have it serviced because the adjustment mechanism has broken. The problem is the weight and I don't know why it had to be this heavy. Changing bits is clumsy.
Summary: This is my first plunge router. It has plenty of power. I haven't tried swinging a really big bit but a 1/2 inch round over works well at 50% of max rpm. The micro depth adjustment is easy and accurate.
Summary: The product manual is clearly not reader friendly ... full of jargon .... not logically laid out ... and graphic images are incomplete or difficult to see. The website offers no other set-up documentation. Since I ordered this product online ... I assume that I am stuck with it ... oh well ... $200 I could have spent elsewhere.
Summary: THIS ROUTER HAS ALL THE POWER YOU WILL NEED TO DO YOUR JOB. FROM IT'S 3 1/4 HORSEPOWER TO BEING ABLE TO ACCEPT BOTH 1/4 AND 1/2 ROUTER BITS. THE PRECISION TO WHICH YOU CAN MAKE DEPTH ADJUSTMENTS. ONE OF THE BETTER FEATURES IS THAT YOU CAN HAVE 3 PRESETS TO CONTROL YOUR MAX DEPTH. I LOVE TO MAKE FURNITURE. AND IT'S GREAT THAT I CAN USE THIS FEATURE TO MAKE ACCURATE DEPTHS WHITHOUT A LOT OF READJUSTING AND MEASURING.
