Summary: I used this with the hawking directional antenna. Just unscrewed one of the black antenna and screwed the directional antenna in. Now can shoot a signal to the mother-in-law suite in the back yard without running another line. It is great.
Summary: The Hawking extender worked so well, I thought I'd try the Router. It installed easily and I'm hoping it will be dependable. It slowed down one time after installing 5 computers and some heavy traffic.
Summary: Purchased the router from amazon. It works well, very easy to set up and stable connection. But the coverage is not as great as I expected. Placing the router on the second floor, very weak signal could be received on the basement.
Summary: I am very pleased with this product. I purchased this router because I share internet with my neighbor across the street. The router is at her house and I can go anywhere in my house and have an excellent signal. It was easy to install and works great.
Router distance good- then failed to work- Junk box

Summary: Purchased the Hawking HWRN1A Hi-Gain USB Wireless 300N Router for my home office network. The purchase price of $[...] was not the least expensive on the market at that time, but I expected a quality product with a better than average range as the product was advertised.
Summary: Product works, I bought this item because of the wireless access expansion capabiilty; the signal strength is stronger and did assist in expanding my network capabilities - but I personally don't think it was worth the cost.
Summary: Hawking disappointed me!!! In a nutshell, all my wireless and wired devices connected without a problem. The problem occurred when connecting to my broadband provider. I spent hours (about 8 in all) doing everything I could to get this thing connected.
Summary: I bought this product to upgrade and replace the house Wifi setup that had quit working. Since I already had a router, I was looking for just a wireless access point that could accept a range extender if necessary.
