Great Router

Randy S., Newegg
3 February 2011
  • Summary: very nice device especially for the money. stable network makes the experience of online gaming just awesome. recommend!!!
  • Pros: Very easy router to set up, has all the features that I needed in a device. VERY quick lan speeds coupled with the good range and speed of the wireless exactly fit the bill. Box is built very solid and is now mounted on my wall.
  • Cons: Doesn't have a usb port for data sharing throughout the network, is also lacking on the dual 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz technologies. No real biggy as I have no need for data sharing and most devices can't read 5 ghz including my pc and my new 360 (slim).

Excellent Router

James Y., Newegg
28 January 2011
  • Summary: This router received rave reviews on Small Net Builder. They definitely were on the ball on this one.
  • Pros: Fast, stable, doesn't need to be rebooted as often as the other commercially available routers
  • Cons: A bit cumbersome if you don't know what you're doing.

Super Fast/Stable Router

D W., Newegg
24 January 2011
  • Summary: this thing is amazing. i had a d brand gaming router, and i have had great luck with it for 4 years now, but it was getting bogged down with all the devices that connect to the internet now. upgraded to this and wow, really fast speeds, very simple gui for changing settings, all around great router.
  • Pros: fast ubicom cpu, gigabit lan and wan ports, 39,000 max sessions for lots of p2p and gaming, great stream engine qos technology for voip and gaming
  • Cons: the rubber feet on the bottom do not sit the router up very high off the shelf for good breathing, but purchased some cheap sticky rubber feet and fixes that problem easily.
