I upgraded from my 82.11g wireless setup to this 802.11n setup to just increase by home speed between the router and the adapter so that I could get better speed from my NAS storage drive which is attached to the router but, instead of getting anywhere close to the 300 Mbps throughput betrween the router and the adapter, I have gotten only about half or even less of that at 120 Mbps. Routing performance was great, detected and UPnP worked like it should. I love being able to set static IP address from the router by MAC. I don't have any .11n devices to test yet, but the .11g signal is weaker than my old WRT56g. I am waiting for a ddwrt firmware release. Read more
Great router. It really seems to run nice compared to many other routers I have tried. I upgraded to the latest software before I used it. Gig ports, fast performance. Hardware NAT feature. Xbox games no longer lag a bit. I like the Guest SSID too. You can have for SSID's setup and you can control how much access each SSID has, such as just to the internet, access to wireless or wired clients. I wish the lights were viewed from the front.
