Summary: I bought this because I needed something a little faster than what I had a couple years ago and the price was right at the time. It's worked fine but like someone else said, this is a flaky router. We've had it about 2 years and it needs to be powered off and restarted about 3 times a week now. Frankly even at the under $20 price I don't think it's worth it. The hassle and aggravation of having to reset it is certainly worth more than that.
Summary: A little bit difficult to install due to its software, I did not work for me because I was looking for a router it can delivery more mbps and this one was only providing 8 mbps top. for someone who just need a router for basics internet access this is good router, but for me was not good.. price wise is good, cheap...
Summary: This little router is perfect for the beginning home-wireless user. Installation was quick and easy, and the instructions on how to secure your network were quick and clear. If you're looking for a beginning product for the home, this is a good buy.
Summary: I bought this 7 months ago and the past 3 months it's been locking up sporadically for no reason both wired and wireless. Have to unplug power when this happens, wait 10 seconds and the power back up. Quite a hassle. Engenius gave me an RMA to send it back for repair but I have to pay shipping. Heck that's half the cost of buying a new one seeing how prices have come down. Forget that! This is the second Engenius I've had that has not lasted even two years.
Summary: I bought this router to hopefully replace my old one that is about 6 years old. The router is a great price, easy to set up, and works okay. The only things I didn't like about it was that it can only register 2 dns servers where as my old router can register as many as I have (which is currently 3). I also was disappointed with the built in firewall. I tested both my older router and this router rigorously using port scanners.
