Summary: I NEVER write reviews, but this is by far one of the worst products that I've ever bought online. I bought this router because it was a dual band router and was supposed to be really fast...and it was cheap.
Summary: This little router works extremely well. We now get about 50% more coverage at the same frequency (5 and 2.4ghz). Signal is very strong and reliable. I am currently running it in 5ghz mode only so that I can limit what devices use it's bandwidth.
Summary: Router I received out of the box had some old software and it caused issue in my network configuration. I contacted Edimax support and they provided in the same day a solution. That was quite amazing experience. Now the router works without any problems.
Summary: Not sure why the other person had such a tough time - set it up in minutes and forgot about it Real nice to be able to set up the dual band and assign different products to each stream added bonus of an easy to set up QoS gets very positive reviews on other sites - not just me
Summary: In fact this is a cool router with a lot of options to manage connections. But being based on Ralink chips it has some issues with other hardware, especially when bridged or WDS-ed. The main disadvantage for me is 149-165 channels in 5Ghz frequency are weak & in lack of power for wide broadcasting.

Summary: I have bought four of these things now. They are great and do the job but I did have a problem with one of them once. The router would not allow some of the devices to connect. I Reset Network Settings on devices as well as restarted them and that did not fix it.
Summary: Works well, has all the features you'd expect (and then some). Directions suk though, so you kind-of have to know what you're doing on install. But if you've configured a wireless router before, this is pretty straight forward. Good range too.
