Summary: I like the set up software of this extender, because it makes set up a breeze. It just took me 2 minutes to set up. I just connected the extender to the electricity, chose the extender wireless, and it connected, and opened the browser on my computer.
Summary: Very good unit. My WiFi is connected (wired) only a few feet away but I can not receive a good signal in my backyard (also only a few feet away). This extender provides boosted connectivity area without any hard to install hardware. Plug and Play, awesome

Summary: Very very easy to connect to your network Mine did on the first try. As compared to it's predecessor the Edimax EW-7228APn which was a total accident if you could get it set up at all! It would not or, could not find my network, time after time.
Summary: I had high hopes for this product. I was planning to use it as a repeater. I read the instructions, used the attached CD, visited Edimax's support website, and installed the firmware update. After 2 hours of wasting time, it still doesn't work as a repeater.
Summary: This Edimax BR-6228nC router replaced a Netgear WPGS606 router on my home theater. It has been setup as a bridge in the "Station-Infrastructure" mode connecting to my primary router. The setup was simple (although not intuitive for the bridge setup) and the interface is very functional.
Summary: It was a fine unit for standalone operation, but when we added it to our otherwise APPLE network, there was conflicts with it trying to take over as the main router. Perhaps a real IT pro could figure it out... but we returned at and got another Apple router.
