Excerpt: When the flood devastated my community, our internet service became erratic even though massive efforts were made by the telecommunication companies to rebuild their networks. In my household, there are three of us who rely on the internet for our work.
Summary: Bought this to work with my Orange dongle.. 18 months ago. Once I updated the firmware it worked well.. creating wifi zone in my home. The only limitation is the strength of 3G in your area.. for me signal strength is still poor.
Summary: This router seemed fine and easy to use. Our 3G connection is pretty dodgy so the router had to be reset quite often. Then the whole unit stopped working and we got a replacement one within the first few weeks without any problems. But then after twelve months the wifi seemed to be getting temperamental, and as it was hard to tell whether this was still the dodgy 3G signal or the unit itself we struggled on with it, resetting it quite often.
Summary: We've been living with just a single T-mobile 3g connection now for nearly 2 years. This router took us from one internet capable device to about six. We can now actually use our smart phones as smart phones without worrying about crippling carrier fees. The range is good enough to reach the kitchen so we can now both work in separate rooms without having to disturb each other for a single web search. That's a huge deal!
Summary: I brought this a few weeks ago because the last one i bought refused to work with my dongle. It takes a while to set up when your using a dongle because you have to set up the dongle to play through the router which is a bit of trial and error but i eventually got it working after that it was pritty straight forward just follow the disc instruction that comes with the router and you should be in buisness.
Edimax 6200n 3G router - excellent, after some support...

Summary: I bought this unit so that I could share a 3G connection with friends when we were staying at our beach house, which does not have a phone line. I bought a Sierra Wireless 3G USB 308 stick, BUT DID NOT CHECK THE COMPATIBILITY FIRST. The 308 was very new, and not on the list. I contacted Edimax, and a few days later, they sent me a firmware upgrade file. I installed it and BINGO! It worked. Very little set-up, and it works really well.
Summary: Having read some good reviews about this product here, I bought one to set up a wireless home network from an ICON-225 Orange dongle (we are in one of those UK coldspots where we can't get braodband at all). Despite weeks of trying, and a few hours on the phone trying to get help, we have got nowhere at all. Totally useless product, and the instruction manual and setup wizard is so badly written - terribly translated from Chinese perhaps? Not very inspiring at all.
