Summary: BUT the technology / Security belongs to the XP / Vista era. Will work on Win7 but only with the older WiFi security types New equipment will probably connect OK but only by using the older/lower security levels. An update to the internal software package would make this absolutely top notch!
Summary: A Wireless Access Point should not be a complicated device for the user. What the user wants is very simple; plug into network, connect wi-fi device, use. However, I have tried many such devices and they have all been difficult to set up and work with.
Summary: Matches well with my Draytek 2710 Router. Extends my wifi network allowing my wife's iPad, my Logitek Duet and various phones to link to the internet. I have tried several other extenders with limited success. This one just works.
Summary: I bought this to use as a repeater around my house, it gives full signal to most rooms. I am not a technical person and had to call the manufacturer to help me install it. They were 5* and I did get it going, they would have spent as long as it was going to take to get it to work.
Summary: I have 3 of these linked to a Vigor router. Great quality Wifi around the house now (large house over 3 floors with concrete beam and block flooring). Has stopped the wife complaining about the quality of the Internet connection in the house now overnight ;-) Easy to set up - as long as you remember...
Summary: Needed a router with four ethernet ports and a USB port (for shared printer or shared back-up external drive). Reliablity was a key requirement. Wireless not needed. Chose this after considerable investigation. Installed and ran out of the box; just had to enter ISP details into the router.
