okay when it was $20, I guess it's a bit more popular now

Summary: Had this router for a few years, it worked well for about a year and then started to degrade in quality. It would stutter every 15-20 seconds, spike to 1000 ms ping - very noticeable in games. I installed DD-WRT firmware and this solved the problem. 6 months after the firmware upgrade I get lost internet at least twice a day. I think it's ending it's life span after about three years.
Pros: Works well with DD-WRT
Cons: Stock firmware is quite terrible. Started dropping signal (wired), even with DD-WRT after 2 years
Pros: Great router, very easy set up. Few to no issues. I feel like if I ever had issues, they were through my internet service provider. I've called D-Link customer service a few times, and they've always been quick to help solve my problem, whether it be a router reset, or directing me back to my ISP. I would buy again!!
Cons: None I can really think of. I've had problems with my internet connection, but could never deduce whether it was my ISP or my router; either way, they've always been solved with a quick phone call.
Summary: If the router manegament page would offer Remote connect it would be a lot nicer,
Pros: It works as sugested, the signal has good strength in the house where I have it set up till my hardware arives from out of state, my firt time using a wifi router in years. I use this device to connect my tablet and phone to internet, great speeds
Cons: the Dlink site management tools do not offer me the ability to create a direct conect to my desktop computer, router configure is basic. but for the price, and type it is good for average user
Summary: under firmware V1.02 time was not synchronized, Router kept dropping signal until I updated to V1.04.
Pros: Free with Modem purchase, decent working when you update the firmware.
Cons: One, when I looked online for firmware update D-link only had the V1.02 but Router stated they had a V1.04. Had to download from other source since I could not get it from them directly. Second, which is not a big dead, Signal is low, But it's understandable.
Summary: Will be updating to a somewhat more current router and will possibly use this as a booster for my yard. Also I was re-configuring my network today and noticed that the date could not progress farther than 2012, I guess dlink bought that whole Mayan apocalypse thing. For those of you that need time based settings, the newest firmware lets you go to 2017. Which reminds me, I need to Google 2017 apocalypse predictions to see what is happening then.
Pros: I've owned this little guy for approximately two years now, I like to wait before I review things It has been a decent unit, with fair range and speed for the length of time that I have owned it. And it did outperform a much more expensive draft-n router that a friend had, we lived near each other and with like settings I could connect to my router in his apartment, he could not connect to his in mine.
Cons: As time has gone on it does appear to need more frequent restarting than it used to, and loses connection partway through video streams on my smart tv. Too many separate internal file transfers will also cause some slowdown.
