Excerpt: We have had nothing but problems with this device since we got it. It will just lose signal or reboot itself whenever it wants. After numerous phone calls to dlink tech support (in which I was hung up on). i was also told they would call me back when going from one tier of tech support to another and never getting a call. They finally gave me a rma which I have to send the unit back so they can fix it and send it back to me.
Excerpt: The low price, and the promise of reliability for the home attracted me.... this time I was wrong.....not a deal. I'm returning it and for approximately $10- $15 more, I'll have a product that runs circles around this. Cheap ? INDEED, in the worst way.
Summary: I found that this is not worth the money. I had multiple customer service calls with Dell on this item. What I finally discovered, was that, if I was just on my laptop, or just watching my WII. It worked okay. If I was watching my WII, and surfing the internet on my laptop, this router dropped bandwidth and reset frequently.
Summary: I bought this router because the info stated it was easy to install. It was a nightmare. Couldn't get it installed after several tries. Kept telling me to take out the CD and start over. No help from customer service. I just installed an updated version from my telephone carrier with ease. Would never purchase another brand like this one.
Summary: Had this for a month, often acted up and tonight, just did nothing. Kept getting the orange world and no matter what I tried, nothing was working so it's going straight to the garbage. STAY AWAY from this cheap model.
Summary: I am using this router since last year, but I have to say it decrease my speed 70% ! most of the time I don`t have speed more than 1Mb/s while I have 8Mb/s speed you will get what you pay !! Stay away from this Modem it does n`t worth !!
Summary: I bought this router about a year ago and it is just terrible, you loose connection walking to one side of the house, and the router is in the middle. The speeds on this are horrible, we went to switch to bell thinking it was rogers connection that was bad.. this router decreases your speed by 80%. My upload was 9/mb and download is 1/mb. Just dont buy this router regardless of anything.
Summary: I have used D-links in the past with no problems. I bought a new n-150 online and it started loosing connection in less than 2 months. at first I was blaming my internet provider until one day it would not stay connected for more than a min and everytime I restarted the dlink it would be visible for just a few seconds to a min. unplugged it and ran computer directly wired to internet provider and had no issues. you get what you pay for, stay away from this!!!!!!
