I don;t know if the product works, but D-Links service department sucks.

Summary: I won an auction for a D-Link DIR600. I have been having a problem linking this router to my computer. It keeps asking for passwords I don't know. When I called D-Link to see if I could get someone to help me they proceeded to tell me that the router was out of warranty. They then proceeded to tell me that the only way they would help was if I gave them a credit card number and paid to have them assist me with the installation of their product.
Inconsistent performance coupled with horrible customer support

Summary: I've had this router for 10 days now and it has needed constant rebooting and connecting with an ethernet cable to maintain connectivity. When my wife called customer support, they insisted that the problem was our ethernet cable. We replaced the ethernet cable--same spotty performance. Looking for a replacement on Amazon right now.
Summary: I recently bought this item in order to hook up my xbox 360 plus other pcs to it. God knows how much support you get from dlink in regards to port forwarding mac address set up and configuration (had a bit better experience with Microsoft when trying to get this going). Overall I can honestly say I will never EVER buy a dlink product again.
Summary: sold me a defective product. I felt insulted when the Flipkart support executive Mr Krinshna mentioned that D-Link 150 N home router DIR 600 M is not compatible for optical fiber internet connection Refno 150331090788. He mentioned it supports only cable or DSL. According to him Cable is ADSL, which was pointed out to me on the Additional features (other features) section where it mentions cable or DSL.
Summary: I had purchased this router not knowing it did not support an ADSL input....wanted to exchange the product post the purchase but flipkart refused to entertain the same.. the CC reps were rude and not willing to listen.. very poor experience on this purchase.
