Summary: Purchased in August 2012 and had worked fine up until yesterday. All the front LEDs were flashing in sync and any wired or wireless devices could not connect. The stock interface was full of detailed settings and easy to use. This model was also compatible with DD-WRT which made it even better.
I would recommended this device to anyone that is technologically savy

Summary: Will a little technological know how, I installed DD-WRT on the router and after purchasing a D-link Ethernet over Powerline adapter, this device seems to run well. The wireless is not dropping and the connection is stable. I would recommended this device to anyone that is technologically savy.

Summary: After around 20 hours of working 5Ghz wireless end point does not respond. Only hard reboot is the only possibility. Also my work VPN gets dis connected every 3 min no matter what I do. My earlier router netgear never had problems with my work VPN.
Summary: Update: Router failed completely after two days! The original firmware is not great. Gargoyle installed seems to help. Connection seems fast and stable. The only issue I see is netstat is slow to respond in terminal when SSH'd in.
UPDATED: Replacement unit works well. (Dead after 33 days!)

Summary: Update (Dec 2014): The manufacturer replaced it with a new unit of the same model and the new unit had been working well since September. I have only moved it once from one room to another and though it acted up a little bit after restarting, it finally connected and the connection has been stable...
Summary: <Update> Just to share this information with whoever run into similar situation. After I noticed the ethernet port of my router died, I tried to power cycle it, press the reset button etc, and any of these trick worked. So I disconnected the power supply and let it sit there for one day.
