Summary: I recently upgraded from DSL to Comcast Xfinity internet service. I bought this router as a companion to the cable modem (Arris TM822G) that I bought to avoid the cable modem rental fees Comcast charges.
Summary: Setting up/installing this router wasn't easy. Though I admittedly am not a tech expert, I usually can figure stuff out quite easily, but it took me a while to get connected, trying all the options until I found one that would work. It should have been much easier.
Summary: These routers work much better than previous routers I had, when they frequently reset. I originally thought Cisco was the best brand to go with for routers, but D-Link works great. For a gigabit router at a great price, you really can't go wrong with this one for $30.
Summary: Not great. I am pretty familiar with computers and networks but this one just didn't work for me. I ready in other reviews that the problems I had could be solved through software updates, but it didn't work for me.
Summary: I have Vonage as my home phone service and had difficulty setting up the router myself. However, I called D-Link and tech Henry was EXTREMELY patient and took me step by step on how to set up my modem, router, laptops, and Vonage phone.
