Summary: I am fairly experienced at networking. My home network has multiple computers (all Macs) and I run my own Postfix and Apache servers. Over the years I have configured a number of routers. When my trusty Netopia recently died I ordered this D-Link as a replacement. What a mistake. I always configure these things manually with the web interface, and I was quickly able to reach the router's log-in screen.
Summary: This my first D-Link router and overall I have been very pleased with the router performance. It was very easy to install and connect. I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a low cost router.
Even a Dummy will figure this one out and Love it.

Summary: I am not really computer savy but I did figure out this one. Hooked it up and it's nice to be able to use my second computer that I have upstairs to gain internet access now. I use that computer mostly for my genealogy and it's just such a pain in the behind to have to download on one computer and transfer to the other. No more though. YAY! The range seems fine to me as I have a very large old, old house with thick walls and floors.
Summary: Bought this router and set up on 7-25-14. Less than 1 month later It's already suffering internet freez-ups and or shutdowns at the rate of 1-per-hr. Didn't pay much for it ($33+shp), so got what I paid for I guess.
Summary: Piece of junk. Never worked properly. After numerous calls to D-Link customer service they finally agreed it was broken. D-Link repair / return policy not worth the effort. I was given the choice of sending them the unit at my cost to have them troubleshoot and replace all while not having a router.
