Summary: I bought this on the Wal-mart website for $30. I am some what a tech person, but I didn't follow instruction so I ended up had to call tech support at 1-877-453-5465. I had the pleasure of speaking with Lorenze Badge ID AR004205 Case # C6679378. He was so calm and patient.
Summary: Some times this device will crash 2 or 3 times a week. It is easy to fix, just reboot. When it crashes, the internet light turns off and it stops broadcasting the SSID (network name), so your cell phones/laptops can't see the network.
Summary: Very easy to install. I have eight devices hooked to it and they work fine. The only problem I have: it shuts down on its own 1-2 times a week, but I turn in off and back on again and it is good to go in less than a minute. For 30 bucks, this is just fine to me. :-)
Summary: I was apprehensive about getting a new router because the current one I had was failing and I remember calling customer service when I first set it up and several times after that when it would act up. This router however was totally plug and play.
Summary: I bought this to improve wi-fi speed because the wi-fi router that came with my FIOS connection was only 802.11g. It's definitely faster, but the range is not so good. The minute I step out to my patio, connections get spotty or dropped. This wasn't the case with my older router.
Summary: A good router, but only if it will remains on. It keeps shutting down overnight for no particular reason. Shame on Dlink for not properly testing the product and its firmware before releasing it to the market.
