  • Summary: The setup instructions seemed simple enough but I'm having trouble and unfortunately their tech support is online only so I'll have to start email communication for some assistance. I even tried calling my internet provide. After being on the phone with them for 2 hrs still no luck. If I cant figure it out within the week I'll just return it and get another Belkin which was my first router.

  • Summary: I knew that opinion was split, but I took a chance, and I lost. Although setup was easy, the device could not maintain a steady internet connection over wifi. If you plugged in to the back, it acted as a fine router, but it would just randomly drop the wifi connection. I replaced it with a Linksys router and it worked fine.

Easy to setup, terrible performance

  • Summary: I have been using home routers since the first Linksys where it was supported by a single office in Irvine, CA. This router was incredibly easy to setup and has good features. The only problem is the fact that over time it has terrible performance. It will run great from boot, but handles DOS attacks poorly. It does block them, but at the cost of overall performance. Something I never had issues with when using Linksys and Netgear.

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SUPPORT

  • Summary: Called D-link with questions and put on hold for one hour so gave up. Emailed customer support with questions- immediately answered "thanks for your question" but never got an answer. Called next day and put on hold 45 minutes. I gave up and returned router.

  • Summary: I am a computer professional and purchase this router because of the features. When I installed the router it would not talk to my cable modem. I spent about 30 trying to do something that should only taken 10 so I called D-Link tech support. They spend about 1.5 hours trying to get it to work before telling me that it was a faulty product and to return it to Walmart. I returned it and purchase a Linksys. It only took me 10 min. to install the Linksys router.

  • Summary: well 2 rooters have been ordered one you all canceled with no prior notice. the other been waiting 2 weeks it still not shown but the speakers that were ordered at same time arrived 5 days ago but my rating would have to be . very poorthere are no reason to take so long.
