Summary: This device pairs with the DHP 306AV, and it supposed to obtain up to 200 Mbps. In reality, I'm lucky, usually if I get 10, and sometimes I get no signal at all. Summary: Using PowerLine networking is a great idea and easy to implement. This 4-Port switch did exactly what it was supposed to: supported wired network access to 4 remote devices. Unfortunately, 18 days after the warranty expired, the item failed.
Summary: I purchased this product to connect a slingbox to a remote wireless router. The configuration was very simple and I had the product working within five minutes. After using the product for several months, I can say the it has proven to be solid and reliable.
Summary: I unpacked the device, plugged it into my switch and the outlet next to the switch. I loaded the software and ensured the firmware was current. The software recognized the device and reported the statistics.
Summary: D-Link said it didn't work because I wasn't using the same circuit. ??? We have multiple electrical circuits in our homes and if this product only works if the circuit is the same, there really isn't a point to it.
Summary: Product works good! Just as advertised! Simple plug and play. I haven't tried to set up the security between the two of them yet, but all else is fine. Over all a good product (wish it were slightly cheaper though). : )
