Super Switch!

Renita O., Newegg
3 September 2015
  • Summary: The switch is very heavy for being what it is, I was worried when it came to rack mounting this device if the mounting brackets would support the weight, which they do very well, just don't free stack anything on top.
  • Pros: Everything you want from a switch plus a little more. Super easy configuration and deployment.
  • Cons: None yet.. This D-Link is alive for one month and counting.. I hope it never dies until upgrade time arrives..

Good switch, Great price for the features

ROB H., Newegg
21 April 2015
  • Summary: I have several of these, and the 52 port, 10 port and 16 port versions. When I rebuilt our network over the past 2 years we settled on these. I have not regretted it. Replaced 1 unit on the last 2 years where the POE board went out. Support was quick and relatively painless.
  • Pros: Reliable, Lifetime Warranty, Smart, Sturdy, Support helpful when needed. Gigabit to the desktop, POE support for phones and cameras makes my job a lot easier.
  • Cons: No cons that I can think of

NIce Switch

Elizabeth C., Newegg
1 December 2013
  • Summary: I hate people who put bad reviews on these who just don't know how to use them. Read the D-Link website get all the information before buying. If it fits with in your needs, they you will be happy with them.
  • Pros: I own about 8 of these and I have no issue with them. They are layer 2+ Switches with some basic Layer 3 switches. The whole web interface is great and easy to use. A earlier post is if the power goes out on these you have to reconfigure ... because you didn't choose to push save config in the me...
  • Cons: I wash they did a 48 port version of the POE They aren't fully level 3, but if you want that go buy a more expensive switch. These will do the job for most home, Small and Medium Businesses.

Worst switch ever

Ean P., Newegg
29 November 2013
  • Summary: Don't buy it.
  • Pros: None really.
  • Cons: Does not offer Layer 3 switching as advertised per DLink support. I called them and spent 4 hours on the phone with them, eventually getting a level 2 tech to tell me static routing between VLANs wasn't supported even though thats what DLink advertises. Additionally, the switch does not save its ...
