Summary: I have the 5 port and the 8 port models and they have been in service 5 months. I have had no problems with the devices in my home office environment. I think I have about 20 ethernet connected devices with hubs in most rooms in my house. I stream a lot of content and have two central network attached storage (NAS) devices that manage all of my storage and local backup needs.
Summary: Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Easy to setup and configure. Bought two of these units and so far all is well after almost 3 months of use. Initial setup is easier if you use their configuration utility to change the default ip configuration. If you choose to do it manually you'll need to adjust your computers subnet to match the switches default ip configuration.
An OK little switch - unless you want centralized monitoring.

Summary: Nice little managed switch. At a price that's almost as low as a "regular" unmanaged 8 port switch. But 3 stars rather than 5, because the switch does not support many of the functions one would usually expect in a managed switch: no ssh / telnet access no support for sending status changes by syslog no support for SNMP polling to capture performance data SNMP traps *are* supported, but only for limited data.
