Rock solid

BDC, B&H Photo
10 June 2015
  • Excerpt: We've bought quite a few of these units recently as we've moved to a VOIP phone system and didn't have enough data ports in our offices to cope. These switches are silent, they stay cool and are cheap. Plus the POE ports work seamlessly with our new VOIP handsets.
  • Pros: Easy To Set Up, Fast, Reliable
  • Cons: Could Have More Poe Ports

Perfect fit for the money!

  • Excerpt: This switch is the complete setup on a small IP camera system. It provides 8 ports with 4 being POE. With a 1 gig internal it reduces the glitches and freezing that you get from a 10/100 switch. This is my go to for the smaller IP camera jobs!

Great Switch!

Mike, B&H Photo
28 July 2014
  • Excerpt: I purchased this switch to provide data and power connections for my IP cameras (POE). The switch is nice and compact and performs great giving me 4 powered connections and 4 standard Ethernet, with all connections providing 1gb speed. I highly recommend if you need a fast POE unmanaged switch.

Not much to say other than it works as advertised

Timothy G. Blum, Amazon
25 June 2014
  • Summary: Bought primarily to power one wireless access point (DAP-2690) and still have some other switch connections available should need arise or we add more PoE access points. It worked fine for this purpose.

  • Summary: This is just a switch so what can I say. It worked right out of the box with no problems. It powers a POE camera which is why I purchased it.

Exactly what you would expect.

Axel O., Newegg
27 October 2012
  • Summary: I didn't see any indication of poor build quality or experience any problems. I like it so much I'm ordering a second one for a different part of the house.
  • Pros: 4 POE ports Gb ports + 4 normal Gb ports, low power usage, and silent. Exactly what you would expect. Powers up a Cisco phone as well as two POE Network security cams no problem. According to kill-a-watt it uses much less power to power things via POE as opposed to power bricks.
  • Cons: Costs about 4 times what a non POE 8 port switch costs.
