Summary: A really good and simple to use product. Price and warranty are fantastic as well (especially when compared to both home and business 5-port switches by Netgear). A highly recommended purchase!
Summary: as unmanaged switches go, this is amazing value for money. it does exactly what is should: it is fast (yes it is!), it is simple to install (plug'n'go) and it is quite nice looking (well...). it also consumes very little power (max 9W) which is a good thing. gigabit for the masses!
Summary: Cheap, Fast & Compact. Add to this it does exactly what it says on the tin, and you have yourself a very good product indeed. Unmanaged means no messing about with silly web based settings. Auto MDI/MDI-X means no running to PC World and getting ripped off by Belkin for a cross-over adapter.
A very reasonably priced network switch that delivers top data speeds with economical operation

Summary: Small, describe, and most importantly requires very low power. So low in fact that it is running off the USB socket on the back of my Sky box. No need for an additional plug in the Tv cabinet!
Summary: As TVs and even BluRay players now connect to the Internet, I needed a switch behind the AV system. It also meant I could use wired connection for the HTPC which has to be better than streaming HD over wi-fi.

Summary: This is a great little switch. Only problem is the same model number has had three different generations. The two-colour one (shown in the search page) the boxy white one (one show in description above) and the round new version (that I actually received).
Summary: Having just installed this device, I've been testing my network performance with the iperf tool. The results might be useful for anyone considering which networking strategy would work best in their home: - DGS-1005D (this device): 930-950Mb/s unidirectional, combined 1.3Gb/s bidirectional - BT...
