Summary: I loved and hated the settings on this router. It is very customizable and is the best and easiest I have used to turn on and off ports to foreward for a game. It swiches quickly and easily and even stores the ports you foreward for certain games on their for you so you can just check or uncheck the...
Summary: Decided to gig my backbone at home, bought this with the 5 and 8 port gig dlink switches. Easy setup. Ran into a problem though using vpn. It connected w/out issues using TCP, but would not connect using UDP.
Summary: Bittorrent, heavy video streaming and music all flow seamlessly through this router. GameFuel gives you "some" priority settings, but only thru the WAN interface. The built-in switch is 1000Gbps rated, though I use a ProSafe Netgear Gigabit for switching purposes, so I cannot comment on the switch.
Summary: Pleased after some time working on the setup. The manual and the online support are not that extensive. I'm not using it for online gaming, but I have my iMac, Directv HR-21 and PS3 connected with Cox cable internet.
Summary: At our home we have 3 computers 1 XP and 2 Vista, and 3 gaming consoles, When we had our old router we would always have connection errors, after installing the 4100 we have never had a problem running everything at once. Good choice for anyone running several wired connections.
