Summary: We have purchased two of these for my office, and they perform like champs. We used the PoE ports to run Mitel 5224 IP phones and are now running Snom 710 IP phones. Summary: Works great, powering two IP cameras and two Cisco VoIP phones. Did exactly what I wanted to do. I will be buying a couple of more. No fan (a big deal), so it is silent in operation. Doesn't get very hot under full load.
Summary: I purchased two of these to power 8x PoE IR bullet cameras (1920x1080 @ 30fps). After two months of 24/7 use, these things have performed 100% flawlessly. They are rock solid in terms of performance with no random reboots, no dropped connections, and are silent and cool.
Summary: D-Link switches are viewed as good from the start. Being able to power a security camera or access point as well is a bonus. Great switch with bonus power for other peripherals is even better.

Summary: I have two other ones at different locations and they work great. I have not installed this one yet but I'm sure it will work like the other two. Just plug it in and start using. No configuring necessary.
Summary: I got this switch because I plan on setting up some home surveillance and needed the PoE features this offers. The gigabit ports are also a plus, gives my home network more flexibility that I need down the road. The switch is pretty solid.
