MBR95

Angie, Amazon
  • Summary: Purchased this online on 12-7-11. It arrived on 12-9-11 by USPS. Great delivery time for free shipping. Installed in about 15 mins. No problem. I ran network cable from my desktops, and my wireless equipment worked great also. The range in my home is about 200ft. I am using a sprint 595u air card. Card is several years old but the MBR95 had no problems with it. So far I am very happy with it.

CradlePoint MBR95 works flawlessly with Verizon Jetpack 5510 L

Wood Walker, Amazon
  • Summary: The reason I purchased the CradlePoint MBR95 router was because I installed an AcuRite 1055 Weather Station and the included remote bridge required a wired ethernet connection and I am using a Verizon Jetpack® 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot MiFi® 5510L for internet service which does not have a wired ethernet cable port on the device. I setup the CradlePoint MBR95 router as a "WiFi as WAN" connection by performing the following steps: 1.

Works As Advertised

Bruce D. Wertz, Amazon

  • Summary: If you have a USB style wireless data card you can use the MBR95 to connect multiple devices to the internet, including VOIP phone service, which is the main reason I purchased this router. As stated it works as advertised and I got excellent service and follow-up by the Seller.

goo product difficult setup

Robert A Parry, Amazon
  • Summary: The product works, but I had to take it to the Sprint store to get them to se is up as wireless as WAN. The Goofs at Crinklepoint didn't know how to make it work but they charged me 30 bucks a half hour as a consolation prize. The folks at Wireless and Wifi were as helpful as hey could be with the info they had. Nice people to deal with.

  • Summary: So far after 1 day it's been great. Using it as my primary internet source in a rural area with no cable or dsl available with a LG VL600 from Verizon. I had been using a laptop with internet connection sharing, plugged into my router. But then the laptop had to on 24/7 plugged into the router.

Do not buy this to use with a Cricket Huawei E397

ricker, Amazon
  • Summary: I guess Cradlepoint is falling behind as they only have firmware for the old 3g ZTE sticks that Cricket sells. I called customer service about this and they said "they have no idea what their engineers are doing to upgrade the firmware".

Sorta Works

dsbdoda's, Amazon
  • Summary: When it decides to stop resetting, it works well. The resetting is an issue, it can take hours to make up it's "mind". CradlePoint techs tell me it is due to weak signal, but when the broadband card is inserted directly into a computer there are no issues at all. So go figure. The modem is discontinued by CradlePoint, but with certain broadband cards it is the only option. It did allow me to use my Windows 8 machine, when it would not recognize the broadband card.

Well designed and easy to set up, if a bit pricey.

Alex, Amazon
  • Summary: This router worked great, right out of the box. There was no set up. I plugged in the power cord, I connected the Verizon USB Pantech modem, and voilà -- I had a wireless network up and running. The administrative control panel is easy to use and well-organized. The only downside to this device is that it's a bit pricey, but probably worth it.
