Cisco WRVS4400N 4-Port Wireless Router was a solution for WAN/LAN access.

Summary: Cisco WRVS4400N 4-Port Gigabit Wireless Router was a solution for WAN-LAN access. I was looking for a full features router, a realiable Access Point and fast-port switch for server and local network sharing. Found all of them in one box!
Reliable, but with XBOX 360 & AppleTV connection problems.

Summary: After burning out many routers through high use, I finally sprung for a high end router. The WRVS4400N has lasted longer than any router I've owned. It never crashes or hangs. It's getting a little long in the tooth though, and for home users it has some glaring flaws that Cisco has never fixed. AppleTVs disconnect from home sharing when not used for awhile, and the performance of airplay drops over time. Both of these are fixed by restarting the AppleTV.
DO NOT BUY, EVEN LATEST HW VER. 2.0 SUFFERS THERMAL OVERLOAD CONSTANTLY !!!

Summary: I have owned the latest 2.0 hardware revision of this for a year and would recommend that ANYONE considering this router to PASS and run for the hills. This thing has been nothing but trouble AND A WASTE OF MONEY, Google the reviews, I'm not the only one. Its feature set and programming are excellent, its bandwidth handling is mediocre at best but where it really utterly fails in in hardware reliability.
Overall a nice product.Wireless is ok but an lower class router will be ok.

Summary: Nice item for the price. Great features. You need to update the firmware before you even set it up. had some issues were I have reboot on a weekly basis. But overall its a nice item. I don't think the wireless is up to par comparing it to some of the similar items. I think the older router if all you need is wireless just purchase a lower end model. they will run just as good.
Summary: I get more out of my 10/100 router from encore that I got off e-bay for $20 forever ago. even more useful features. This is sad for the supposed king of networking giant.(They are there because they pay to be and so do you if you buy from them, With this quality you can tell it is all marketing.
Professional series equipment good for use anywhere. even home!

Summary: Awesome router! I have been looking for something for my home network that supports gigabit WAN and LAN. I have a 24 port gigabit switch in my house and I wanted to make my entire network gigabit from the internet connection all the way down to the computer. This allowed me to do that. retails for over $250. I got it for $110 shipped. It does get kind of hot, but as long as you aren't stacking devices, you should be alright. Oh yea, and I can't wait to set up the VPN!
Summary: Ebay tells me to review the item I bought...and it cannot even show me the right item I bought.. I got wrt310n and it gives me wrvs4400n to review...go figure.. Anyhow Intelligent buyer does research on their own and for linksys/dlink N routers, smartbuilder.net and cnet reviews are helpful. So feel free to google them as its better to trust professionals who put together comparitive graphs of evaluation.
