I find that the signal is great when connected but that it periodically drops the connection ...

Summary: Product arrived and looked very attractive so I hooked it up to a new Lenovo desktop computer. Set-up was just plug and play ...nothing to it, and I got a strong signal since the receiver was only 15 feet from my router. Having now used this product for a week, I find that the signal is great when connected but that it periodically drops the connection unlike any of the other 5 devices I use on this router.
Summary: Since I've been using this, my pc has issues booting up. The only way to work around that has been to unplug the wireless adapter, boot up the pc, then plug the adapter in after bootup. Kind of an inconvenience but it fixes the problem.
Summary: I know this might be an old model of wireless adapter but it still works for me. I purchased this for old desktop that does not include wireless network card and I need one to connect to the internet. I purchased this with a price less that $12 and it works just fine for me. Compatible with my WIN7, installation is easy and portable. Signals receiving is pretty good. I am happy with it.
Summary: Plug and play..install....software downloads to the computer.......finds your wireless devices..you enter the passcode from our router..and you are done..takes just a few minutes. Never loses a connection. GREAT product.
Summary: We had an older wireless connection device from about 5 years ago. It hasn't worked right in years and kept disconnecting for no reason. I bought this very reasonably price device and my wife is so happy she said it is like having a new computer.
Already had one bought another for my other desktop

Summary: This tiny piece of equipment is the perfect item if your machine does not have a wireless card, it is very easy to install, the software is built in, just plug it into an available USB port and let it install itself. Just follow the prompts and wait for it to finish. There is only one thing that you will need and that is your passkey (your password) to log on to your network and you are ready to go.
