The Cisco Valet is a wireless-N router that supports 2.4 GHz bandwidth and lets uers create a wireless hotspot in the home to connect laptops, desktops, game consoles and mobile devices to the Internet. The router features Easy Setup Key with Cisco Connect software which has three steps to get the device set up and secure the Wireless-Network for operation. Users can utilize simple to advanced settings via its interface and customize their settings, add multiple Internet devices to the network, create a separate, secure, password protected network for guests; limit access time and websites with Parental Controls. The Parental Control allows users to limit their kids’ time online, block specific sites and/or certain times of the day and customize the settings on each computer for a safer Internet experience. The router also features Instant Guest Access which allows them to give friends and visitors password access tot eh Internet but not private information, and has Gigabit Ethernet ports for file sharing between other Gigabit-enabled devices like media servers, hard drives and computers.
