Seems to work fine.

Teresa D Snider, Amazon
14 March 2014
  • Summary: 4 stars since I'm not a techie and had to pay to have it installed. We've had no problems with it.

Does the job well

Dutch, Amazon
31 August 2013
  • Summary: This product may seem as if it is for the small jobs but it will perform 100% in a demanding environment. The GUI interface is much easier to live with than the traditional CISCO command line approach.

Great small business router

Jose B., Newegg
20 May 2013
  • Pros: My favorite feature is the automatic VLAN configuration. The router automatically reconognized the VOIP phones in the building and setup them for voice. The router is feature rich, with options for VPN, which I plan setting up soon, and many other too. Wireless works perfectly fine as well. Highl...
  • Cons: May require slightly advanced configurations depending on your desires.

Works if you like intermittent WiFi

Robert F., Newegg
15 March 2013
  • Pros: Fast, when it works. Very configurable.
  • Cons: Can't configure router in Firefox or Chrome, you must use IE; otherwise menus won't change properly WiFi drops out a lot, poor signal.

Slow speeds

John M., Newegg
29 December 2012
  • Summary: I would not buy this again.
  • Pros: Lots of features
  • Cons: Very slow. The speeds I get on my local network are slow compared to my old $70 router. Netflix and Hulu constantly stall or stop. I find that I need to reset the router at least once a month, and I needed to buy an Asus repeater so my MacMini could connect (which, btw, is only about 30 feet away).

This thing is great.

Joseph P., Newegg
16 July 2012
  • Summary: The VPN doesn't really bother me as I also use an ASA5505. It would be nice to have an all in one true firewall/wireless router though
  • Pros: dual WAN connections, 5 wireless networks, managed 4 port switch, encryption, refined interface...his router is really great
  • Cons: no SSL VPN yet

$$$ REALLY???

Pam H., Newegg
11 July 2012
  • Pros: They want you to pay $300 more to get IPSEC VPN?
  • Cons: Does not support SSL vpn. Firewall technology is no better than a $50 router. Why would anyone buy this? You can get a N900 for less than half the price and load dd-wrt on it. Wireless is even more stable once DD-WRT is loaded.

It's Cisco! Nuff said.

MIKE R., Newegg
18 October 2011
  • Summary: If you are looking for a great small business router or an over the top home network device then this is it. It is pricy for those who don't need VPN support and stateful firewalls buy something cheaper.
  • Pros: Easy setup. Can be used as a Voice appliance as well as a router and access point. Seems fast.
  • Cons: DD-wrt?????

Cisco SB SRP541W-E-K9

Станислав, Rozetka
12 October 2013
